What We Need From You
A little preparation on both sides sets up a smooth build — the faster it comes together, the sooner the build begins.
The Alignment Phase
Before the build begins, here’s what each side takes care of.
Your Team:
- Examples of the in-scope output (client reports, presentations, factsheets, RFPs and DDQs — whatever’s in scope)
- The inputs that feed them — data, facts, and disclosures (detailed below)
- User details for each pilot user: name, email, and mobile number (mobile is for two-factor authentication during the pilot; a full implementation uses your own single sign-on)
- Some of your team’s time — to pull the materials together and join the kickoff conversation
Assette:
- Configure your pilot tenant and create user accounts
- Hold a connectivity session with your IT to link Assette to your data sources — only if you’re connecting directly; skipped if you’re providing files
The Inputs Behind Your Outputs
Everything Assette produces is built from these inputs. For the pilot, we just need a few good samples of each — not a full data set.
Data
Assette has no data model of its own. Rather than copying your data into a fixed structure, Assette streams it live from your sources at the moment content is generated — so nothing is duplicated or rehoused. For the pilot, you can connect directly to your data sources or provide Excel or CSV files that mirror the tables in those sources.
Business Data
The numbers that drive your content — performance, holdings, attribution, AUM, and the like.
System Data
A small set of fields the platform needs to organize everything — for example, product and account codes that tie your data together and let the application run. Your team produces these to a defined specification, which we’ll provide.
Qualitative Facts
The approved facts about your firm, strategies, and people that appear in your content.
For people, provide a list with start dates and titles — plus headshots, if your outputs display them. From the start dates, Assette can calculate figures like tenure automatically.
Disclosures
No action needed in most cases. Conditional logic — disclosures that change based on client location, index usage, and so on — is something you build yourself during implementation, not something you need to prepare in advance.
Data rarely arrives in the exact shape outputs need. In Assette, you can transform, calculate, and reshape it as much or as little as required — the choice is yours. If your outputs need significant shaping, the pilot is a good way to experience this power firsthand on your own data.
What Happens During the Build
Once the inputs are gathered, a kick-off meeting formally starts the build. From there, Assette’s team builds your scoped deliverables using AssetteAI Skills for Claude. We hold a weekly call to explain and show what we’ve updated, so you’re never in the dark — even though the build itself doesn’t need your team’s day-to-day involvement.
The Handover: At the end of the build, we train you on the platform, so you’re ready for the 30 days of live use.
During the 30-day period, the weekly check-in calls continue to make sure everything is running smoothly. We are always available for day-to-day questions and support too.
