Assette supports Advent Axys®, Advent Portfolio Exchange® (APX), and Schwab PortfolioCenter®. Assette can also process complementary analytical data (e.g. characteristics, attribution, etc.) from FactSet® and BondEdge®. In addition, any custom data you want to include in client reports can be loaded via Excel® files. |

Assette provides “Connectors” that let you securely push data to Assette from Advent Axys®, Advent Portfolio Exchange® (APX), and Schwab PortfolioCenter®. The “Connectors” know how to extract data out of client files and databases within these systems, and then compress, encrypt and securely transfer the data to Assette. When it comes to FactSet® and BondEdge®, you produce standard Excel® reports offered by these applications, and then use an Assette-provided tool to securely push the files to Assette.
Assette’s “intelligent” technology knows how to process and combine portfolio accounting data with Excel®-based analytical data, providing you all the information necessary to communicate a complete picture to clients. In addition, the Assette applications allow you to easily include information such as buy/sell rationale, sector exposure rationale, client letters, commentary, firm overviews and bios. If you have custom data to include in client reports, this data too can be sent to Assette via Excel®. |

Assette charges a one-time implementation fee for setting up the software and an on-going monthly fee for hosting and managing the software, which includes unlimited client service. There are no annual maintenance fees or support contracts as with traditional installed software. Both the implementation fee and the monthly management fee are based on several factors including reporting requirements, number and type of source systems and your assets under management (AUM). Clients are only invoiced for monthly fees after they go “live” on an Assette application. |

Assette offers a fixed implementation fee for a package of features that includes the software, report templates, and connectivity to supported source systems – this package (or model) will be clearly demonstrated to you during product demos. If you require changes to the model, then such changes are done on a time-and-material basis. Assette always provides an estimate for additional work, and completes work only upon written approval of the estimate. Updating the look-and-feel of reports to conform to your branding can easily be done by you, and does not change the implementation fee.
Let’s compare implementing Assette software to purchasing a home from a developer. The developer shows you a model unit and provides you with a fixed cost – as long as you purchase a house that matches the model, the fee will not change. After the developer builds the unit, you may paint the walls of the house, re-arrange appliances, etc. yourself without incurring additional costs (i.e. change the templates to match your branding, re-organize objects in the template, etc.) If you would like to deviate from the model home – have the developer install custom flooring and windows, add a deck, etc. then there will be costs on top of the fixed-fee. (i.e. match complex brand identities, create custom objects, etc.). |
